About Fox Tire
We are a third generation family owned tire and full service shop. We offer new and used tires.
Located at 1035 William St, Buffalo, NY 14206, Fox Tire operates as a wheel alignment service serving Buffalo in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as air conditioning repair service, auto repair shop, brake shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 amβ5:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Buffalo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Got side swiped on Clinton. Popped front passenger tire. Fox Tire had me in and out within an hour. Brand new tire for much less than I expected! Stellar service, as always with this place. Shout out to Jay, who kept me informed and walked me through the process.

I do not recommend this place if youβre looking for used tires. Be very careful when buying used tires here because they may install unsafe or damaged ones. The first tire they put on my car had a damaged spot that looked like a hole. When I pointed out that it wasnβt safe and could be dangerous, they started arguing with me and told me to move my car because they were busy. It wasnβt until I spoke with the manager that they finally replaced the tire. On top of that, all of the tires were covered in dirt and mud. After I washed my car, I noticed that one of the rear tires has a bulge, which means it was likely damaged by an impact and is unsafe to drive on. Now I have to wait until Monday to go back and deal with this again. This was a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this shop for used tires

Everyone could not have been nicer. They gave me a really good price on some nice tires and help me load my car. I left knowing Iβll be back. Thank you very much.

Donald James was extremely exceptional! Helping me size rims and tires for my β59 Rambler . All the other tire shops I visited didnβt take all the time and attention to detail. The tire installation and that crew were equally impressive! I would recommend Mr Fox for all tire needs and especially for custom rims & tires ! Nothing but 100% review and the many thumbs up that old Rambler gets !

Amazing place.. honesty and quality is what you'll receive here. The only downside is that even simple services, such as an oil change, can take up to 2 hours if you wait on-site. You're actually better off dropping the car off and arranging a ride home until it's finished. Unless you like sitting in a cold room with drama shows playing on the TV haha..
